The Zapco DSP-Z8IV II App offers a streamlined approach to system setup and tuning via smartphone. Designed with efficiency in mind, this app enables users to fully manage their audio systems on a compact platform.

Upon launching the app, your smart device automatically synchronizes with the active preset settings from the DSP, ensuring that you are always greeted with the configuration currently in use. The Channel Page provides functionality to assign roles to each speaker, select input channels, verify phase polarity, and adjust individual channel gains. Notably, when speaker functions are defined on the Channels Page, the system autonomously assigns default crossovers to safeguard speakers from potentially damaging frequencies, while also allowing customization to meet specific system needs.

The Delay Page facilitates precise adjustments by enabling entry in either centimeters or inches, instantly translating this into the corresponding delay in milliseconds, resulting in a stable and accurate front stage sound.

The EQ Page represents the core of the app's capabilities. Users can choose between Graphic and Paragraphic EQ styles, adjusting any of the available 31 bands for gain, frequency, and Q factor. Options to work on individual channels or link pairs via icons enhance flexibility. Importantly, setups can be saved directly to the DSP or exported to smartphone storage for future retrieval. Users also have the option to load presets from either the DSP or their device's files. Visual feedback is provided through a graph that displays how adjustments influence the signal sent to the amplifier, with options to view either a single active channel or additional channels through a drop-down menu.
